About Me
My dog-eared childhood copies of Shel Silverstein’s Light in the Attic and Where the Sidewalk Ends still grace my bookshelf.
I communicate for the Air Force professionally, and for many years that kept me from leaning into my creative side.
Not to brag, but in elementary school I got to the third round of the state competition in Power of the Pen.
I’m an Enneagram 2 (Helper), with a pretty strong 1 (Perfectionist) wing. I’d like to think I’m fairly healthy and integrated, but I’m no stranger to my shadow side.
When I was a child, I read somewhere that my name meant little truthful, and I’ve always felt like I had to live up to that moniker.
I write to capture common life experiences in a way that resonates.
The opening line of Patricia’s MacLachlan’s Journey has stayed with me since I read it as an 8-yr-old.
I’m finally in my 40s, and it’s way less scary and far more beautiful than I imagined when I was 20.
